The brief

A serious room needs a serious brand.

25th Street Recording is a world-class multimedia facility in Oakland, the kind of room where the people who book it can hear the difference. A space like that has to look the part everywhere it shows up, from the website to the door.

The work was to brand the facility from the floor up and then keep it present: a steady stream of content that matches the standard of the room itself, not a logo that gets made once and forgotten.

What we made

A brand the facility could stand behind.

We built the brand and the design system around it, then the content that keeps it visible. The creative comes from senior designers; the systems that publish and track it are ours.

Everything we make for the studio has to clear the same bar the studio clears with its clients. That constraint is the point: it keeps the brand honest to what the room actually is.
